Here's the first few lines. If you're interested in following the story as I write it, part one is submitted here [link]
Colours of springtime are muted in grey,
A throw of black velvet blocks out the day
And down in the garden, so quiet and still,
A flicker of light tells us all is not well.
The tiniest fairy, just three inches high,
Is skipping with glee and you're wondering why.
(This fairy's not one of those pretty pink creatures
But has wings made from snake scales, and hideous features.)
EXTRA:
If you check out any artist's page today, check out the gallery of ~Lilaims (cough! How do I make this a link? EDIT: sorted!).
If you love colour, expression, activity and turbulence - with a magical story to boot - you will certainly appreciate this artist.
